Pleasanton is a thriving and community-oriented hometown in California.

Life in Pleasanton reflects an upscale suburban lifestyle. Residents here enjoy the area’s great downtown, which offers exciting events. Popular events include First Wednesdays, antiques fairs and holiday celebrations. Pleasanton also is home to the annual Alameda County Fair, which is held during the last week of June and the first week of July.

Given the high concentration of great jobs in Pleasanton, you will find highly educated residents with children. Many parents here are focused on education and enjoy the fact that Pleasanton has a variety of highly rated schools. Education is just one of the prime assets of this community. There also are dozens of great parks within the city with playgrounds, tennis courts and ball fields. The city is not far from open space areas with miles of hiking trails. A popular one is Shadow Cliffs Regional Park. All of this contributes to the enjoyable way of life.
