I was just thinking of you the other day. I was thinking about all the work that was involved with emptying out my Dad’s house and getting it ready for sale. You were SO KIND putting in endless extra hours and time and effort replacing lights, overseeing contractors, getting things to Goodwill, hosing down the exterior, etc.
At the time my sister and I were so overwhelmed with grieving the loss of our Dad, dealing with the estate, dealing with the house, and I had a baby and a crazy toddler etc.
I want to let your know that we are truly grateful for all that you did and I hope we acknowledged it at the time. You kept telling us that Ralph was your friend and you wanted to do right by him by taking care of us in dealing with the house. I hope you know that you definitely did so, and I’m sure he was smiling down feeling grateful that Aleda and I didn’t have to deal with all of that alone.
I’m not sure how to adequately express our gratitude, but I hope this email helps to do so.
